How Can We Help?
The goal of the group is to provide a place where experiences and worries can be discussed and to assist family and friends of individuals with a current, previous or suspected drug issue by offering mutual support. Group members learn how to adjust, cope, encourage and support loved ones under the influence of addiction.
Experience has shown that help for the drug-dependent person means help for the family and friends.
Group gatherings enable members to have an honest and steady relationship with the addict. This type of relationship often influence the addict and makes him/her want to live drug-free life.
Drug abuse dependency are often devastating the life of the dependent person as well as the lives of families and friends and they are also pervasive in today's society. You may find it difficult to deal with hurting people whose children or loved ones are involved in drugs or alcohol and suffer mental, emotional and physical pain while they watch hopelessly as addiction consumes their loved ones. Families Anonymous, presents assistance to drug addicts parents, partners, relatives and friends.

In the FamAnon meetings, participants learn how to live with the issues that are disturbing their lives.
Having a sincere and consistent approach with the person that is addicted is what going to these meetings can do for members. As a result of this, drug abusers often decide to search for help as they start to want to live drug-free life.
Results from our past work indicate that by helping friends and family members of an addict, we are also helping the drug abuser.
